A Republican bill aimed at capping government spending and unraveling chunks of President Biden’s agenda, has narrowly made it through the U.S. House of Representatives.
But President Biden has threatened to veto the bill, and the legislation won’t make it through the Democratic-led Senate- setting the scene for a potentially catastrophic default.
