Air strikes in Khartoum as evacuations continue

Air strikes have hit the Sudanese capital Khartoum as a failed ceasefire approaches its end.

The U.S. and African nations are working to extend the pause in fighting between rival generals.

It comes as foreign governments use the 72-hour window to evacuate citizens.

The UK government has airlifted hundreds of British nationals from Sudan but says it can't guarantee assistance after the ceasefire ends.

Retired British Air Marshall Greg Bagwell says if the conditions allow, evacuations could continue.

IN: They'll first...
OUT: ...can continue.
