Biden & Schloz discuss Ukraine in Washington

US President Joe Biden and Germany Chancellor Olaf Scholz have
discussed the war in Ukraine during a meeting at the White House.

The brief visit - with no joint press conference - centered on the two
countries' continued commitment to arm Kyiv in the face of Russia's
Spring offensive.

Both countries agreed in December to send tanks to help Ukraine.

President Biden said Germany was playing its part in helping.
