Web services provider Yahoo is planning to lay off 20 percent of its workforce.
Its chief executive said it is "still hiring aggressively," and employees who lose their jobs will be considered for other roles.
This comes after several tech giants announced major cuts in recent months after mass hiring during the Covid-19 pandemic.
