UNESCO adds historic centre of Ukraine's port city Odesa to its World Heritage List

The French foreign minister has made a visit to Ukraine's port city of Odesa, the day after UNESCO added the city's historic centre to its World Heritage List.

"While the war continues, this inscription embodies our collective determination to ensure that this city is preserved from further destruction," said UNESCO's Director-General Audrey Azoulay.
