Rail workers in the United Kingdom have walked out in an on-going dispute over pay, conditions and lay-offs.
It is the second day in a row of train strikes, disrupting many passengers' commutes as they return to work after the festive season.
Bus drivers, highway workers and health workers are also due to walk out this month, with hundreds of thousands of employees taking action.
