The US House of Representatives passed a $1.7 trillion package on Friday, securing federal funding for the next fiscal year and avoiding a partial government shutdown.
It was approved by the Senate on Thursday, and President Joe Biden has pledged to sign the bill into law as soon as it reaches his desk.
