UNIONS: UK STRIKE ACTION COULD GROW IN 2023

Union bosses in the UK are warning widespread industrial action could escalate in 2023 unless ministers change their approach.

Paul Novak of the Trades Union Congress is accusing the government of sabotaging efforts to end a wave of strikes.

The Government says double-digit pay rises will "embed inflation".

Conservative Commentator Charlie Rowley says he believes Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's stance on the issue is the right one.
