The UK's rate of inflation has reached its highest level in 41 years.
The latest figures show an increase from 10.1 percent in September to 11.1 percent in October.
Office for National Statistics data shows food, energy and fuel prices are all on the rise.
This comes ahead of Thursday's Autumn Statement, where Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt will present plans he says will bring spiralling price rises under control.
