Former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged all militia groups operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo to lay down their arms and choose the path of peace. Mr Kenyatta's call comes amid heavy fighting between government troops and rebels of the M23 movement in the east of the country.
