The M23 rebel group in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo has said that a ceasefire deal announced on Wednesday in Angola does not concern them. The rebel group's political spokesperson has called for direct talks with the Congolese government. Their position comes a day after African leaders met at a summit in the Angolan capital and agreed on a ceasefire and the withdrawal of the M23 rebels from all the territories they've captured in eastern DRC.
