One of Europe's leading meat suppliers has announced plans to build a new hundred million pound factory in the UK to meet Britain's surging bacon demand. Danish Crown's planned facility is predicted to create an estimated three hundred new jobs in the North-West of England. This announcement comes despite a shrinking UK economy and the increased complications of post-Brexit red tape, as cost of living pressures see Britons eating more pork. Julia Chapman reports.
