Business confidence levels in Europe look to be at their lowest in thirty years, according to a new survey by Eurochambres, the association of European chambers of commerce and industry.
The survey, based on responses from 42,000 companies in 25 European states, shows business confidence for 2023 is worse than during COVID-19 lockdowns or during the global financial crisis.
