Bitcoin hits two-year low, as Binance deal to buy FTX collapses

Bitcoin hit a two-year low, falling below 16-thousand dollars
overnight, before recovering slightly Thursday.

This, as the deal to consolidate two large cryptocurrency exchanges —
which spurred the sell-off this week — falls through.
