Basketball star Griner moved to Russian penal colony, US calls detention “wrongful”

The White House has heavily criticized Russia for moving US basketball
star Brittney Griner to a penal colony, calling her sentence
"wrongful".

Griner was detained outside of Moscow earlier this year when cannabis
vape cartridges were found in her luggage.
