U.S. stocks slip ahead of key inflation report

U.S. stocks fell on Wednesday, as investors brace for the release of
highly-anticipated inflation data.

A high Consumer Price Index on Thursday will likely mean another big
interest rate hike when the Fed meets in a couple of weeks.
