U.S. condemns North Korea missile launch vows support for Japan

U.S. President Joe Biden says his commitment to Japan's defense is
ironclad in the wake of North Korea's latest missile test.

On Monday Pyongyang fired a long-range ballistic missile over Japan.
The first such launch in five years.

The United Nations has also strongly condemned the launch.
