New sanctions including arms embargoes and asset freezes will be
placed on those engaged with criminal activities in Haiti.
It comes after the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted
a resolution to try and improve security in the Caribbean nation.
Violent gangs have blocked a key fuel terminal in the country
exacerbating what aid groups call a rapidly escalating crisis.
