OPEC+ makes biggest cut to oil supplies since the pandemic, despite U.S. pressure

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and Russian-led allies have decided to cut oil production by two million barrels a day.

President Biden has called the decision "shortsighted" at a time when the global economy is dealing with the impacts of Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
