France launches winter energy-saving plan

The French government has laid out its plans to try to reduce energy use, ahead of what could be a difficult winter.

Some of the measures include turning off public lighting between 1 and 6 am, shutting off hot water in public buildings, and even making swimming pools slightly colder.
