Eurozone economy unlikely to escape recession as downturn persists: PMI

The Eurozone looks unlikely to avoid a recession, according to a new survey which suggests a further economic contraction in the fourth quarter.


According to flash estimates, S&P's Global Eurozone PMI Composite Output Index dropped to 47.1 in October, down from 48.1 in September.
