EU Commission unveils plan to radically cut pollution in the bloc
The European Commission has unveiled legislation aimed at drastically reducing levels of air pollution in the European Union.
According to the bloc's environment agency, pollution exposure contributed to more than 300,000 premature deaths in the EU in 2019.
