Australia and Japan to sign new security agreement, sharing intelligence over China

Australia and Japan are deepening bilateral relations with a new security pact - as part of wider cooperation between Quad partners U.S. and India, in response to China's military build-up.

The leaders of Australia and Japan are meeting on Saturday in Perth.
