At least 37 people including more than 20 children have been shot and killed in an attack on a nursery school in north-east Thailand.
Authorities say a man stormed into the child care centre brandishing a gun and a knife.
He later killed himself at the scene of the attack.
Tommy Walker is a reporter based in Bangkok and he says the suspect has been identified as a former police officer.
