India on Friday commissioned its first indigenously built aircraft carrier in the southern state of Kerala.
The carrier, which cost about $2.5 billion, took more than a decade to build, as it was beset with delays.
But it's seen as an important sign of progress in India's defence manufacturing capabilities.
