Dow snaps four day cold streak

U.S. stocks ended a four day cold streak with the Dow Jones kicking
off the new month in positive territory.

Investors have been spooked by hawkish comments from the Federal
Reserve in recent days and fears that rising interest rates will hurt
the economy.
