China locks down biggest city since Shanghai due to COVID

Chengdu has become the largest Chinese city in months to be locked down due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

On Thursday, the city recorded 157 new infections. Around 21 million people have been ordered to stay indoors.

As Patrick Fok reports in Beijing, it's the latest sign that authorities are willing to sacrifice the economy in pursuit of "Zero-Covid."
