Mississippi runs out of reliable drinking water amid flooding

The US city of Jackson, Mississippi is set to be without reliable
drinking water indefinitely, after pumps failed at the main water
treatment plant.

A state of emergency has been declared as the city scrambles to
distribute clean water to 180,000 residents.
