Former Soviet Union leader Mikhail Gorbachev died on Tuesday at the age of 91.
He's been praised by many world leaders for his role in ending the cold war and his slogan Demokratizatsiya.
FSN's Simon Marks was based in Moscow in the 1990s and interviewed Gorbachev after he left office.
