CRIMEA EXPLOSIONS FORCE RELOCATION

The head of the Russian administered Republic of Crimea says around 250 people living on its western coast have been provided with temporary accommodation after a series of explosions at a military airbase.

On Tuesday, nearby beachgoers reported between ten and fifteen large explosions, which authorities in Crimea say killed one, and injured thirteen others.

Ukraine hasn't admitted to being behind the attack, but says nine Russian military planes were destroyed - hundreds of kilometres behind the front line of fighting.

Stuart Smith reports from Moscow, where there are reporting restrictions in place.
