A red extreme heat warning has been issued for parts of the UK next week.
Forecasters are urging people to significantly alter their normal routines, as the temperatures will pose a threat to life.
The predicted rise in temperature is part of the heatwave affecting much of Europe, which has caused wildfires and significant disruption.
