House moves to protect rights to contraception on back of Supreme Court abortion ruling

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed legislation to codify the right of people to have access to contraception nationwide.

They've moved to protect a number of high-profile issues such as gay marriage, since the Supreme Court overturned Roe. v Wade, which had protected abortion rights.
