‘Heat apocalypse’ in France as Europe heatwave continues

Parts of France suffered temperatures of 40C on Monday as the heatwave hitting Europe showed no sign of easing.

There are 15 regions in France with a red weather alert in place amid warnings of a 'heat apocalypse'.
