President Volodymyr Zelensky says there are an untold number of casualties after Russian forces bombarded a shopping centre in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk.
Video taken at the scene shows the building fully engulfed by flames.
There are reports that hundreds of people may have been inside it when the Russian bombardment began.
The attack came on the day G7 leaders pledged fresh support for Ukraine at their summit in Bavaria.
