The UK government is set to publish new legislation that would allow it to scrap pieces of the Northern Ireland Protocol.
Part of the wider Brexit agreement, the protocol meant Northern Ireland kept certain EU rules in areas such as food standards.
The Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney says the UK is deliberately ratcheting up tension with the proposed legislation.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson disagrees.
