Swimming's governing body limits participation of transgender athletes in women's competitions.

Fina - the organisation that oversees international swimming has voted to limit the participation of transgender swimmers in women's competitions.

The move would affect transgender athletes such as America's Lia Thomas who hoped to take part in the Olympics.
