The Taliban government of Afghanistan is appealing for more international aid in response to Wednesday's earthquake in the south east of the country that killed at least a thousand people and injured fifteen hundred others.
Survivors say the region around the quake's epicenter has been devastated, with mud-and-brick houses collapsing in on themselves.
Dr. Mohammed Anwer is with the aid agency CARE Afghanistan and he's in the capital Kabul.
