20m viewers for Jan 6th Capitol hearing

Nearly 20 million people watched the first public hearing of the Jan
6th committee which is investigating Donald Trump's involvement in the
US Capitol attack.

Democrats hoped the carefully scheduled primetime evening event would
draw in viewers to hear their arguments that Trump was central to the
planned assault.
