Pressre mounts on Russia over civilian evacuations from Mariupol

The White House is urging Russia to allow civilian evacuations to continue from a besieged steel plant in the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Mariupol.

Though around 100 evacuees did reach safety within the last 24 hours, the Avostal factory has again been shelled by the Russians.

Hundreds of people are trapped, living in tunnels beneath it.
