Japan-US to boost alliance amid China concerns

US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida are holding their first face-to-face meeting in Tokyo, where they are set to boost the US-Japan alliance.

Their talks come amid concerns over China's military assertiveness in the region in the wake of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
