INTRO:
A third Ebola patient has died in the northwest of the Democratic Republic of Congo a day after he tested positive for the disease. A doctor in the city of Mbandaka says the 48-year-old man was taken to a treatment centre after the disease had reached an advanced stage. The Congolese health ministry is working with international health organisations to prevent the spread of the disease.
