UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak has written to the Prime Minister asking for an independent investigation into his own tax interests.
He's come under fire over his wife's non-domicile status, meaning she doesn't pay UK tax on her overseas earnings, as well as his possession of a US green card whilst in government.
Chris Bryant, a member of the opposition Labour party and a former deputy leader of the House of Commons says this is a clear conflict of interest.
