Top Russian officials admits "significant losses" in Ukraine

The Kremlin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, has admitted that Russian forces have suffered "significant losses" in Ukraine.

It's the first public admission of the scale of the difficulty that Russian troops have encountered at the hands of Ukrainian forces and volunteers.

Mr. Peskov was speaking exclusively to Britain's Sky News, and said recent withdrawals by troops from Kyiv were designed to give peace negotiations a chance to succeed.  [CREDIT IS MANDATORY]
