UKRAINE 'READY TO DISCUSS NEUTRAL STATUS'

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky says his country would discuss neutrality as part of a peace deal with Russia.

But he says it would have to be guaranteed by third parties and be put to a referendum.

Peace negotiations are due to resume between the two countries later in Turkey.

Lee Reaney from the Kyiv Post says many Ukrainians are sceptical about them.
