Some Nigerian soldiers and other security personnel have been killed by criminal gangs in the country's northwest state of Kebbi.
The casualty figure is yet to be verified by the military, but locals in the state say it's about 15 of them.
The soldiers who were attached to the state's deputy governor were killed during an attack on his convoy on Tuesday evening.
