FORMER BERLIN AIRPORT CONVERTED TO HOUSE UKRAINIAN REFUGEES

The German Government says over 175,000 Ukrainian refugees have now been registered in the country, as Europe works to respond to the growing humanitarian disaster caused by Russia's invasion. 

Authorities say the priority remains finding accommodation for the new arrivals - as existing services struggle to keep up with unprecedented demand.
