US sending 3,000 troops to eastern Europe amid Ukraine crisis

The US is sending more than 3,000 troops to eastern Europe in a show
of support to Ukraine over the escalating crisis with Russia.

It's the first deployment after the Pentagon put 85-hundred troops on
standby last month.
