GERMANY'S SCHOLZ TO TELEPHONE PUTIN OVER UKRAINE INVASION FEARS

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is the latest European leader to try and convince the Kremlin not to launch an invasion of Ukraine.

Scholz will speak with President Putin Monday, a day after the German government warned any German nationals in Ukraine to leave immediately given the risk of a conflict.
