Russia has launched a military invasion on Ukraine and now NATO is scrambling to respond.
World leaders are locked in talks over what kind of sanctions should be put in place to halt any more Russian advancements.
Leight Turner served as the British ambassador to Ukraine.
He says that the West should impose the strongest sanctions and as quickly as possible.
