Truck Drivers in East Africa Protest COVID-19 Testing Fee

In Uganda a strike by truck drivers from the East Africa region has entered day two.

The truckers are protesting a against high testing fees for COVID-19, bringing business to a standstill at the Malaba border post.

Uganda recently introduced a mandatory $30 fee for all incoming travelers, including truck drivers.
